An expression of brotherhood
« on: July 24, 2004, 11:35:41 PM »
I just returned from the annual NMTA Rondy. Near the end of a very long general meeting one of our more respected members interupted the closing motion to ask if the members thought the association should speak for restriction of non-resident trappers (Bobcat prices are up). Well the next time the closing motion was heard of my bladder was making walking difficult. To a person, and a large percentage of those in attendance spoke, the rights of non-residence to trap NM were defended...strenuously by most. Seems like the New Mexico trappers are extremely appriciative of your support and say thank you in both word and action. ME TOO!!!!!

Sheesh Wacky did you get a couple flats fm cactus or take a wrong way down a dead end canyon???? (4:30 AM). Thanks for the trappers supporting the nonresidence right... We are pushing hard for the nonresidence trapping lic here in WI. We have been trying for quite a few years and we are close... Beav has been spearheading alot on the issue and maybe he can fill us in on how things are going on the Wis non res trapping issue. Thanks for taking time at meeting for these issues in yr state Tom.
