" oh we didn't sink the bismarck, and we didn't fight at all, we spent our time in Norfolk and we really had a ball. chasing after women while our ship was overhauled, living it up on grapefruit juice and sick bay alcohol"

There it is.  You have captured on paper, the essense and spirit of a group of outdoorsmen and hunters.  May God bless W.  Maybe some day you will find out just who blessed him as he blessed you.

What a great story. The anti-hunters and anti-gun people can never understand the feeling one gets on a hunting trip like this. Although I will never be able to go or hunt in Alaska it was like I was really there. Alaska is truly one of the last great frontiers and as you said even if there were no animals harvested the trip was well worth it. Thanks for a wonderful story. PRICELESS! :D

summitx,

I haven't a clue.  My Enternet has been down for about 2 weeks due to several problems.  This is my first day back.

Why did the author delete it? From the responses it looks as if it was worth reading. Please repost it....<><>...
