Scallop season opened yesteday in Florida. Don't know how it was in Steinhatchee, but at Homosassa results were dismal. Last year we limited out in less than two hourrs. Yesterday we got a dozen each between the three of us. The Game Warden came by, checked us out and told us we'd won the prize for the most collected.
