Lyman 10x value
« on: June 22, 2004, 08:49:01 AM »
Hello all,I have a 10x Lyman All American That came mounted on a used TC purchased a few months ago, after useing for a couple of months I wanted more power and replaced with a 5.5x16.5 Nikon. After removing the Lyman I noticed it has a fisheye in the objictive lens about 1/4'' wide going 1/3 the way around.I do not know if this is a crack in the glass or lens seperation.                                  This dose not impare the optics in any way I can tell and can only be noticed when you look into the obj. lens.                                   when mounted on the TC .17 1/2 ''groups at 100 yds. were the norm, same as scope now mounted.                                                Can someone help me as to placeing a value on this scope.           Thanks David
