As of 5:00 pm 6/29, we have had 2+ inches today so far with more on the way. Yesterday I dumped 0.8" and the day before an even inch out of my rain guage. Lotsa folks further west and north got plenty more than we did. It's going to be a phenomenal wild game year, I can't remember the last time it has rained so regularly from February through July 1. Need to go cut some mesquite barbeque wood and can't find a dry day to do it. The weather folks say we'll get a break this weekend.
Wet and cool as it is, hogs ought to be moving more in the daylight hours as well as at night. God knows they've got perfect rooting conditions. Oughta be getting fat by the time it dries out enough to go hunting.
