newbie needs link to sillywet rules
« on: June 27, 2004, 06:05:42 AM »
Hi guys. I need some help finding rules for the different classifications of silhouette shooting. The simplicity of the game is what intertest me (just knock over the dang steel critters ! ). I just wonder what time of firearms I would need to be competative. Is there a nationally recognized stock rifle or handgun class? That sort of thing. I just saw a show on TV about lever gun silhouette. Looked mighty fun and I'm not even a fan of leverguns so much. I have seen some sites that explain in a highly technical way about the rules but I need more of a laymans/begginer speak format, so I know what the heck they are talking about.

Thanks,

Mike

Sorry I can't seem to find a link with all of the official rules however, these two websites have a ton of information and can get you started.

You can also go the NRA webpage and request the official rules for silhouette.
