Shot new Encore today

I got to shoot my new virgin valley encore barrel today. It's chambered for the weatherby 270 mag. AWESOME! I got  a three shot  1/4" group at 100 yards with factory weatherby ammo, 140gr. barnes bullet. I didnt have them install the hanging bar system, I dont think I'll need it now. It's got  more recoil than my remington bdl 270, so I'm going to put an after market recoiul pad on it. Whats the best on the market? I put a redfield illum. 3-10x 50mm scope and leupold dual dovetail high mounts on it. I also put a camo job on the scope and mounts. :grin:

I have a friend who has a 7mm RM Encore and he put a Limbsaver recoil pad on it and he said it made a world of difference.

I have both the LimbSavor and the Pachmayer Decelerator.  Both work very well, and make a world of difference.
