I know this is kinda late, but I just registered on this site. Check out CDNN Investments  from Texas. I bought their $99 17 HMR barrel for my 10-22 Mag. The gun had some VQ trigger parts already and I just replaced the hammer strut spring with the factory one and it shot as well as my Marlin and Savage bolt guns at 100 yds. No FTF or FTE or any problems. Don't know who made the barrel (it's stamped " Target Sports" but it shoots.
