ok, after waiting almost 3 weeks, my .17 sporty will be here wednesday, tomorrow, after 2 delays, a miss-fire on the order, and then a shipping snafu.

i found ammo at midsouth for 8 bucks a box, the lowest around but still not low enough for what rimfire should cost ($2-3 at most), grumble grumble....

the gun shop opens at 10:30, it's 40 minutes from the house. at precisely 9:50 am i'll be firing up the old biscayne and heading out. just to be sure, i parked her on a hill in case the battery dies !

Enjoy that Sportster, SG! I jsut put about 100 rounds through mine again yesterday and continue to be impressed withteh accuracy of this little gun! A buddy of mine has a patch of dirt rats staked out for us, but I have not found the time to go shoot them yet. He got 33 in about 3 hours Saturday, but I was working

it's here !!!!!!!!

i scrubbed her up, cleaned all the junk off, and sprayed on some rem-oil.

took a few shots off the livingroom deck at a tin can i tied to a crabapple tree about 40 yards out.

my first impressions are that this is a really finely balanced rifle ! quiet, no recoil, sweet !!!!

life is good.

Congrats! Hope you enjoy it as much as I do mine! Shoots like .17 cal. laser...
