I am thinking about purchasing one of the 480 Ruger TC factory Encore barrels and am curious if it is possible to fire 475 Linebaugh ammo in it as well. I have heard that factory barrels normally have "generous" throat dimensions, perhaps this is enough to allow the interchangeable use of both types of ammunition? Anybody out there tried this?

I bought the 480 Ruger 10" TC Encore barrel,and YES you can fire 475 Linebaugh in it,recoil is STIFF.
