.223 Standard bull barrel vs .223 Ultra varmint bull barrel

Hi, Anyone there ever tried  accuracy for standard bull barrel over a Ultra varmint .223 barrel. Which one would give better accuracy.

When you see a standard barreled .223, you'd swear it's a bull barrel. That tiny .223 bore makes it look like a bull. I have the ultra, but it seems like the guys with the standard can shoot groups just as small. I have heard the light weight barrel doesn't shoot as good.

Im getting ready to compare the standard with the Ultra. Im still breaking in my barrel with the ultra though so I havent started the head to head comparison yet.  However, I can tell you while the synthetic handi is lighter and easier to tote around. The ultra is much heavier and easier for me to hold on the target, make my squeeze an follow through.

My standared is a tackdriver though I have done 2'groups at 200 yards on a good day with its 6 pound trigger.  I feel the ultra is capable of that out of the box with just what I have seen so far.

(2') groups? :grin:   I think you meant 2", I hope.  Heck, I can shoot 2' groups standing up with my 22lr at 200yds :grin:
