I know, never "loan" your rulebook, I did couple months back so here I be.

Question, in the old book 3.1.1 something it stated BossCR could be installed on hunter barrels, is that still in there or not?
Always looking for a little extra no!!
Good luck to all at Raton!

3.1.1(e)
A factory tuner that does not act as a muzzle brake is permitted.

A tuner is allowed in centerfire, not in smallbore.

The query was in reference to 3.1.1 which refers only to centerfire hunter.

Appreciate the info, but I chickened out! Was looking to add serious weight to the end of my wimpy "real hunter" barrel. little edge against the big sporters now legal. I was gonna add it in the "name' of Boss Cr but have been advised better, stick to the LETTER of the rules, maybe next year! just picked up a now legal lightweight stock which throws all balance to the wind. dang i wish they'd come up with rules and leave em be. about the time I shoot a barrel out and reup with what's current it's obsolete.
 Thanks and have great shoot!
