wow  that  is  odd?  did  he  have it shot off  or  was it  a  natural defect?,  what  kind of rifle  is  that  you are carrying  and caliber?

I think it had been shot off some time ago. It was skinny as a rail, about the only food it could get were the tall weeds in that field. The shot was a little over 300 yards and I didn't know the jaw was gone until I drove up to the pig and saw the green stain. The gun is a custom XP100 pistol in 284 Win. done up by HS Precision.

300 yards  that  is  awesome  and  i  like  the 284 round pretty impressive round.  i  am also  glad  the   hog  was put out of his misery  was  that gangreine on  his  jaw?  did  you eat him?

No I didn't keep it, he had healed completely but I wasn't hungry enough to keep it.

Gentleman,
Now that is what i call putting the UG! on ugly. Old boars will some times maim the younger boars,,, Like Emasculating the younger boars. In the southwest part of New Mexico where NM & Az and old Mexico meet A friend and myself witnessed this happening from a hill looking down on a
Stock tank in the valley below, Wasn't a very pretty sight either, Don't know that is what happened to this one or not, But Jeff done this one a favor by putting it down. Stay Safe............Joe...................
