I have lyman loading books that go back to 1936. After reading your post I checked from 1936 to 1953 and didn't go any farther. I would be glad to send you what I have in the 32-40. The only jacketed bullet they list is the 165. The rest are cast plain base and gas check. Please get some more information before you handload. The max powder for the 4198 you spoke of is 21.5 so the 33grs you spoke of is to hot.
