Hi,
This week i have tryed the new Pietta in SAA 45 LC model geat western II i compared it to my Uberti's Cattleman and my Colts. The résult is that in all points the uberti have better accuracy, the finishing and the sight is U vs V on uberti. OF course the Colt is the better for me. ( but little good result that Ubertis )
What do you think about us.

What is a Pietta? Who makes them and do they have a website?

A small square file and some cold blue will take care of the "v" sight and change it to a "u". Picked up an EMF Hartford a couple of years ago. It had the "v" sight, I didn't care for that at all. Quickly remedied that with a small file, now it is one of my favorite and best shooting guns. 44 Man

The Great Western II is made by Pietta, an Italian maker. most known for making Cap & Ball guns. They have a Website, search it.
