More experience with Hornady interbond bullets

Here is only the second recovered bullet I have from Hornady's new interbond technology bullets. This is a 165 grain bullet from my 30/06. It shoots about 2900fps. Not a really hot load but accurate and functional. The bullet entered the body an inch behind the "elbow" joint on an up hill quartering away shot with the bull running. The bullet came to rest inside the skin on the opposite side just a hair in front of the scapula bone. The heart was split into two pieces and the other internal damage was significant. We shot over 20 animals with this bullet out of my gun in Africa this year and only recovered a single one. This one is from an Elk with a live weight of about 1000 pounds.

I'm going the Hornady Interbond route for my .308 WIN, 300 WSM, and .338 WM.  I'm shooting the SSTs for practice, and to save money.  I'll use the Interbond SST on the hunts.  Same B.C. I would assume.  The only difference is the bonding process of the core.
