My Crockett rifle shoots quite well with a .310 or .311 ball, .15 cotton patch and 10-30 grains of FFFg Goex. 20 grains is my favorite load for target shooting and plinking. I not sure why you would need, or want to load below 10 grains because that charge will produce virtually no recoil, is very economical and is still quite accurate.
