www.marstar.ca is selling Mosin-Nagant M91/30 barrels for $15 cdn. what i want to know is if the receiver for a M91/30 is threaded the same as M44. if so it would in theory be possible to replace the carbine's barrel with a rifle barrel. the M44 is Polish post war built and i contacted marstar to find out the country of origin for the M91/30 barrels if it would make a difference as to the aresnal it was built in.
