i found a website selling the zeiss 3-9x40mm matte for $379. does anyone know of a better deal?

Seems as though they usually run around 399.00 so you are on a good trail. Have you talked with Jon at Optic Zone? Also the SWFA Sample List.

Also try Alex Roy at Eurooptic.com he is a straight shooter with some very good prices.
