I have never tried it. But when you do, please give us some feedback.

Goex quit making the stuff as they blew up their factory twice with the stuff. I would not get too attached to the stuff. I had some and traded it back in as I figured why work up a load if you cannot get the stuff regular anymore. I would stay with Triple 7 or one of the other substitutes. Jim
Said I never had much use for one, never said I didn't know how to use it.

I have shot some of it, but never tried working up a good load. Full power loads do OK but reduced plinking loads were not very good. It is now sold as American Pioneer Powder. http://www.americanpioneerpowder.com/products.html

THe above post mentions GOEX and I get these mixed up also but one was clear shot and one clean shot. I think the goex was clear shot and the one you describe was clean shot but then I could have these ass backwards also       Just know they do not make the Goex brand any more and they did have problems with it at their plant. I suppose you could call blowing up your plant TWICE problems.

Goex was clear shot - its is now made by american pioneer. Clean shot is still, to my knowledge, being made. Clearshot/american pioneer looks like gun powder, Clean shot looks like gravel.
