Need Refinishing Advice

Hello guys:
I bought this Ruger Security Six at what I think is a deal:
I bought it as a "beater" gun to just throw around and not worry with. Most of the blueing is gone and has quite a bit of rust but it functions nicely and is "supposed" to be accurate. If I do decide to refinish it I would like to put some kind of a matte black finish on it. Can any of you recommend a gunsmith that does good refinishing work? Also, is there some type of finish available that you think would work good on the gun. Or would I be better off to leave it as is?
Thanks for any opinions,
X

CCR does some great work. The owner of
http://www.xd-gear.com
just had a XD done by CCR and it looks great.
I have also seen some of their hard chrome work and it's very nice.
There is also another finisher that I have heard nothing but good comments about....

He uses the gun kote also. Tripp Reasearch is now doing plating again and they are one of the best.

Thanks for the suggestions guys. Do these guys disassemble the guns in order to refinish everything? Or do I have to have a gunsmith disassemble the gun and ship the parts that need refinishing to them?
Thanks,

They should disassemble the gun for coating. I would give them a call before hand to make sure though.

If you REALLY want off the wall then check out these guys:
http://www.lauerweaponry.com/
They have a digital camo print that will toast your mind....wait lemme see if I can get a good pic for ya....
Ive seen a Walther P22 in this camo and it is cool. But they can do just about any kind of kooky thing you want, even just stright one color schemes. Just check out their gallery, I think you will be pleased.
