« on: July 12, 2004, 02:00:01 PM »
Last thurs. i laid away a H&R 3 barrel combo. A 30/30 barrel, 22hornet and a 20ga. This is one of the guns before NEF.  My daughter could start hunting this year, it reaally does not matter this combo should be a great trainer combo. What do you guys think?

I think you made a GREAT CHOICE! 20GA for birds & small game; 30/30 for deer, & 22 Hornet for varmits. She will be set for life! Congrats to you & she!!!!!!!!

Sounds like a winner. If you don't mind, about how much is that going to run you?  I would like to get that for both of my twin daughters. My God, 2 of everything. Glad that there is somewhere or some one that I can get this stuff and not pay a arm and a leg! :-D  :D

Sounds like you got a very good setup.  Wish I had one of those.

Good luck

Flick - That's a great package for either a youngster or an adult!  Like Dawei said you've got all your basses covered with that setup.

How much did it cost?.... Oh, wait, don't answer that!  If you got a real sweet deal on it you may make some of us cuss or cry.

Thanks for helping to keep our shooting heritage alive by passing the shooting sport bug on to your daughter.   8)  Best of luck to you and your daughter.  :D

I have been real busy for the week and now to answer the questions on the cost $275.00. The 30/30 barrel has a 3x9 bushnell on it and the hornet barrel has a 4x something. The receiver and 20ga barrel are not blued but plated. After she has grown up it will made a nice gun for and old man ME.
