Being a teacher, I have too much time on my hands this summer. While clearing my bench, I found some 300 grain bullets, 0.457". Sized them to 0.452, patched and loaded them with a VERY liberal dose of IMR 4895 for my #1. After playing around with seating depth I them to the range. Kept the last four within 2.5", the 1st seemed to have a mind of its on. Seemed promising and did it again on another day. Same story. May play with it and tweak the load a little. Figure I'm getting around 2250 f/s. Once I get it settled in, I'll crony it to see.
