Does somebody make 32-20wcf dies for .308 bullet. Or can you just modify your die tighter.

Also, has anyone tried loading heavy bullets in 32-20.Like 180-220grn.
I would be using 1 in 8 twist barrel.

Redding makes 30-20 dies, also called 30-20 Hoffman. I use them with my contender, they work great. Heaviest bullets I've used have been 170 grain cast bullets and they stabilized just fine in the 10 inch twist.

Maggot, I won't be much help on the 32-20wcf, but I have a lot of old lyman reloading books. The biggest bullet they can use is the 115 gr.

Winchester--Groove Diameter Min-.311 Max-.3115 1 in 20 twist.
Stevens-------" " Min-.310 Max-.311 1 in 20 twist
Savage--------" " Min- .3105 Max 00 1 in 20 twist

I have loading information 80 gr Jacketed bullets, 100 gr and 115 and if you want it. The lyman books have information on cast bullets also. If you need any of this informatioin let me know. Carl L.

I've got a set. Redding made them, called 30-20 TC. Since TC barrels use a .308 bore, they're nice to use in your Contender. The 32 H&R mag has the same problem in a TC, RCBS makes a special tight sizer for that one as well.
