I was at Fort Benning a while back. Their museum was so dark my camera wouldn't work right. There was a handrail in the wrong place also. Sorry the pictures are so bad. I find them interesting. This is the only original colhorn I've seen on it's original base

Was there any  history as to which unit used this one?

Sorry, No other information was with the mortar. It was interesting how simple the base was. Two pieces of wood.
