Its the only one in this condition I have ever seen.
Its a C93 1897 DWM US TEST CALVARY BORCHARDT "LUGER CARBINE"

Go to http://www.gunbroker.com/auction/ViewItem.asp?Item=21048548#pic

Its worth a look I've only seen these on the history channel in the story of the luger.                                                     BigBill

THIRTEEN THOWWWWWWWWSAND DOLLARS!!!
Ouch! says my wallet!
If I ever paid that for a gun my wife would shoot me with
it when it arrived!
But that gun sure is pretty to be so ugly,
Kinda' like a dog I had once.

I've seen that hit $14,000 before and reserve STILL wasn't met...like to know what that really wants for it...watched History Channel, they were talking to a Luger collector and he had 3 of them in a display case....he also had like 1,500 Lugers!    8)

It was the luger story we seen on the History Channel and it sure is good to keep some new VHS tapes ready to go to record these great programs that the history channel shows every so often.   They seem to put them all on in one day together so we have to watch for the programming ahead of time.  I caught the Smith & Wesson story,  the Ak story,  Snipers and Women Snipers(russian) and lots more too.  All of this stuff is very interesting history of the world.                        BigBill
