Remember the Calico?
« on: September 19, 2004, 11:44:38 AM »
Now that the AWB has expired, has anyone heard about the resurection of the Calico?  You know, the space-age looking rifle/carbine/pistol that had a 100-round magazine?  IIRC, the 22 held a hundred rounds, the 9mm version (pistol) held 50.  I'd like to see them come back on the market, I always thought the 22 would be the Ultimate Plinker!

That line belongs to Donald Rumsfield. Stormin Norman had the French with him in Desert Storm.

I also looked at the .22 Calico a while back and just sighed............. would be nice if this is now available!

There's always been some for sale on GunsAmerica.  It'll be interesting to see if 1) prices collapse (for this and other hi-cap/"assault weapons") and 2) if Calico goes back into regular production.

The Calico 9mm pistol and rifle both also had 100 rd. mags.
