Any of you Ohio coyote hunter/trappers hear anything about whether or not they put a bounty on coyotes? I heard a few months ago that a senator from over by Washington Courthouse was going to put it into effect because of yotes hitting some sheep herds over that way. Worm

I had heard that the ODNR was against it also. I was talking about it with my fur buyer and he said that about all it would accomplish would be to educate the coyotes and make it harder for fur trappers to catch them later on in the year. Of course the season never closes on coyotes here in Ohio so I guess it doesn't really matter. If it does come into affect I would be out there just like anyone else, 50.00 bounty is a lot better than 20.00 for a hide you have to peel, flesh than stretch. Of course it is always pretty cool to see a yote dancing at the end of your trap chain. Worm

I sort of figured it wouldn't go through with the ODNR against it. Thanks for the info. Worm
