Alright Howie.  Good job on the hogs there.  You gotta love it when persistence pays off.

ill  be  back  for  a  day  or  so  my  land  is  only  a  few  miles  from  home  but  i  still  have  5  more  days  vacation   i ventured  into  some  areas  that  i  have  not   been  before  and  i  think  ill  be  able  to  daytinme hunt  here,   the  hog  sign  is  just  incredible  mid  is  knee  deep  though   so  zi  am  going  to  get  a  stand  down  there  probally  tomorrow,  its  been  a  while  since  i  have  seen  that  many pigs  in  one  night,  i  thought  i  was  putting  a  dent  in  them.   the  out  of  the  last  4   3  were  sows  and  one  little  boar.  i  am  still  after  that  elusive  huge  boar   so  i  fiounbd where  he  is  crossing  and  i  have  several  stand  locations  along  the  roads  with  mega  amounts  of  corn  along  the  way  that  is  how  i  got  these  hogs  i  baited  the  roadfs   and   baited    them  to  the  spot  i  wanted  kind  of  manipul;ated  them   it  took  several  day  to  do  this   but  finally  it  paid  off   the  more  i  hunt  these  the  more  I  have  an  understanding,  or  so  i  think.   usually  when  you  think  youve  got  them figured  out  they  come  from  a  totally  different  direction  as  these  did  last  night   i  figured  they  would  be  coming  from  the  west   which  is  the  bottoms  on  my  place   but  they   were  coming  from  the  east  which  blew  me  away  as  from  the  East  there  is  no  water  anywhere  for  several  miles
