Red dot for SW500?

:D Has anyone successfully used a red dot scope on a S&W 500 revolver? I tried 2 Nikon Monarch VSD's but both fell apart under less than 20 rounds.  :shock:  :eek: I'm sending the 2nd one back with (warm) regards.   :evil: Hope they'll do the right thing.
