« on: August 13, 2004, 07:04:46 PM »
Gents I bow to your expertise again, here is the situatition, i bought a new 50cal Yeager, built by Ron Scott, Oregon. The bore at the muzzle mics out at 0.493".The ball is hard to start but loads quite nicely,I should mention the rifling is quite deep,Ed rail built the barrel and I have been unable to find him. Is the barrel choked. Thanks Teech.

8) Hey Teech,as far as I know Ed does not choke his barrels. He is located in WV   1-304-364-8269 if you need to get in touch with him.I have a original green river rifle works barrel that is choked, loads tough for the first 8 inches then slides down fine.Shoots far better than I can hold it.  8)

Teech-Congratulations on the rifle. Ron Scott builds some of the most beautiful guns available. If you are looking for Ed on-line, I believe he spells his name Rayl. Not sure if he has a web site, though.
