Hey there: :grin:

Anyone know where I can get "BearHug" type grips for my Super RedHawk ?? Been searching on the web, so far, have not found any good looking grips for the Super RedHawk.

Also, where can I get the lighter springs for a good trigger pull on my SRH ?? I have the 9 1/2" barrel, SS, and now have a scope on it with the Ruger rings.

I can't help you on the grips but the spring kit can be gotten from the W. C. Wolff Company .

Speaking of Super Red Hawks, WHY is there so much negativity directed at this gun in these forums? Geeze, it isen't manufactured in Hell, is it? :devil2:

I have found hogue's Mono grips are one of the best grips for the SRH, don't know about the grips you mentioned. Aim small hit small. RAMbo.

FYI, Super Redhawks use the same grips as a GP-100. Sometimes grip makers assume owners know this and don't list grips separately for the SRH. Many of the internal parts are the same part number for a GP-100 and SRH. This includes the mainspring and trigger return / latch spring. The front sights are interchangable too. The SRH comes with a red insert whereas the GP has a black sight.

Pretty good guns once you get past the ugly looks. One of the strongest and most versatile guns on the market. I do agree with poor trigger pull. Some internal smoothing and a set of Wolff springs makes a world of difference.

I like my .480 SRH very much, thank you. Last weekend I took it out and burned up 50 rounds of 400 gr. cast bullets with a load of 17 gr. of 2400. I find the felt recoil to be less than my SBH. I have tendinitis really bad in my right elbow, so I have a pretty good indicator of which revolver makes me want to quit faster.

Yesterday morning I recieved and in the afternoon went to the gun club and tried out my new 7.5" SRH 454 Casull. "WOW" what a gun! I started with my 45 Colt Cowboy loads then the hottest 45 colt 300gr jacketed and 335gr hard cast loads.
I haven't had time to make up any reloads for the 454 yet but with the Winchester 300gr JFP's factory loads the velocity was an average of about 1700fps and all of the shots at 15 yards where touching each other.

Forgot to mention, one affordable item I got for my SRH's was a fiber optics for the front site,what a big difference it made, remember be selective on the size you want, there was three sizes I went with the smallest,and three colors red/green/yellow,I went with green, worked great, really picks up light well, I notice the optic works best at low light level, that was my original problem with the stock front sight, it was a dull orange and did not show up well., if you still like the blaze orange front sight millet makes a much better front site, much brighter, with a taller profile for heavy bullets. Aim small hit small. RAMbo.

I also have no idea why some think the super redhawk is ugly. I love mine, only problem is trying to keep a scope from moving!
