My old Lyman manual shows that with .311 diameter bullets and IMR4895 powder, 46 grains under a 150 grain bullet for 2730'/sec and 41 gn under a 180 gn bullet for 2370'/sec are the preferred accuaracy loads.  HTH.  Mikey.

What model rifle will you be loading for? I have an older M36 Belgian conversion(91 style) and an 1909 model.I'm sure you know about the limitaions of the 91.I load for both and have different loads for each.

I have 4 M91s I use these loads in.  Cases re formed from new W-W 8x57 brass so I can just feel the shoulder of the case headspacing - they are NS'd after that.  Primers are WLRs.  Velocities are from a military barrel shortened to 24".

180 gr Sierra .311 or Remington .311 with 43 gr of H4895; 2425 fps
Hornady .312 with 49 gr Varget; 2867 fps or with 47 gr of 4895; 2922 fps (great hunting load for deer)
Hornady/Win/Speer/ Sierra 123-125 gr .310/.311 with 49 gr H4895; 3135 fps (very decisive on varmints)

All of these loads shoot quite accurately in all my M91s.  I have one (the one use to develope and chronograph loads) which has a Burris 3X scope mounted "scout" style.  With it all these loads hover around MOA except the Remington .311 RNs, they are generally 1.5 to 2 MOA bullets.
