These days there are a lot of folks contracting to have optics made and their name put on them. Companies who are not really in the optics business but who seem to think it might add a bit of profit for them. The question you have to ask yourself is this:

Will they be around later when I need warranty repairs?

For me the question is enough to cause me to shy away from such companies and stay with those who are strictly optics companies and have been around long enough for me to have confidence the answer to the above question for them is a resounding yes.

A wise response Bill.  What raised a warning flag to me was that I couldn't find a lot of details or reviews for them with my search.  I wonder who is making these for Hunter?

None of the optics selling companies are willing to tell just who makes their equipment. The reasons are many. They generally buy from the lowest bidder and next buy might not come from same place. Or it might be that if you knew you'd NOT want them. I just shy away from outfits like they. Too many have gotten into and then quickly back out of the optics selling business over the years. My recommendation is to go with a company committed to the optics industry and who has a track record of being in the business.
