Mini 14 value
« on: August 09, 2004, 12:59:11 PM »
I fired a mini 14 stainless with a 4x Burris mini scope (stainless, or at least that color) on it today. It has a flash supressor and the stock is wood. It was made in 1993. It appears the same as new and was incrediblely accurate. They are asking $495.00. How does this sound? Any help will be appreciated. Thanks. Oh yes, it has a piece that a bipod can be attached to.

It's average

Wal-Mart sells them brand new for right around the $500 mark.  The pre-ban used guns are close to this price also.  How many extras does it come with?

With that said, the pawn shops are also selling used Mini-14's for $450 to $500 depending mostly on condition and how many magazines are coming with the gun.  High capacity magazines for the Mini are still going for a premium.

The price is average - how bad do you want to sink the money into this?  In comparison, I prefer the SKS.
