In Jurassic Park 3 (at least I think it is the third movie, maybe the second), a man accompanies a team to go to an island where the dinosaurs are running amok.  He carries a large bore double rifle. Does anyone know the make and caliber?  Pretty cool rifle if you ask me.  Large bore all the way for T-Rex!

There's a thread about double rifles in movies at http://forums.nitroexpress.com/showflat.php?Cat=&Board=doubles&Number=17183&page=0&view=collapsed&sb=5&o=&fpart=1

One poster believes the rifle to be either a 577 or 600 Nitro made by Butch Searcy.  Interesting thread.

Thanks for the thread.  That was interesting.  There are more double rifle cameos than I thought.  My favorite..."The Ghost and the Darkness".

It is a Searcy gun, in .600 N.E. used in J.P.II and was auctioned off for $10K. :)
I get my kicks from an 1886.
