Last spring was my first turkey hunt. Went with my best friend, my wife. Only got to go once cause of her illness, and didn't even hear one. Still had a good time. Anyway, my question is, do any of you know if turkeys can be hunted from one of those throw up in the air blinds, like an Ameristep? My brother-in-law told me he knew of some guys that used one, and the turkeys left the area. Any opinions from you folks?

Hi i dont know about your state law but here you can use one and they work good and you see alot of the hunting video people useing them too like primos use them bow hunting turkeys VM

Too many folks are ucing the pop-up blinds for them not to work.But if the turkeys see you putting up the blind they will leave the area.Plus to remember that turkeys do travel as ther foods and breed areas change.Turkeys are still there somewhere you just have to find them.But if you  have good camo and do not move you do not need a blind.These blinds are the hotest thing out know these days.But Will Walker with Primos usally does not use a blind.But his company supports double bull archery!
