with factory 150 corelok my best 3 shot group was 3/4. loaded up some loads with blc2,cci200lr primers,150 remington coreloks, 51.0 first 2 i heard the firing pin hit then it fired,1 time with 52.0. first 3 with 53.0 1.285. after that not good at all.do i need magnum primers?

You need a different powder. BL-C(2) is NOT the most desirable powder for the '06 with a 150 grain bullet.

I would suggest:
N-204 From 55.0 grains to 59.0 grains
Winchester WLR Primer

or as second choice:
IMR-4350 From 49.0 grains to 59.9 grains
Winchester WLR Primer

I agree with Steve.

I have had great luck with IMR 4350 and 4895 for 150 gr bullets and like IMR 4350 and 4831 for 180 gr bullets.

I think the question to ask here is this
you said you heard the firing pin hit the primer , did the primer go off at that point?
i have loaded and shot bl-c2 and 165 grain sierra boat tails pretty successfully in the past in 30-06 in a remington 700 :roll:
