New Century scopes
« on: August 16, 2004, 05:12:49 PM »
Has anyone ever heard of or use  New Century scopes? I'm thinking of trying an inexpensive, even cheap scope to see if I like using magnification (2x-7x) on my encore pistol vs. a red dot which I like & am more familiar with.  Any opinions would be appreciated.

i have the 2.5x on my 22/45 ruger 5 1/2" bull. it is excellent! it is a definate gamble. may or may not hold up. try it if ya have the need for a cheap alternative, but for the price.......a feller can't complain too much if it doesn't last long. some go......and some blow. i've heard both scenario's.
