Could someone help me out - Im curious to know what the profile and weight is of a Encore factory standard SS 24" 7mm 08 - (but any chambering would do I guess). Im still waiting for mine to arrive from the States, got my bases, rings, limbsaver and various bits n pieces etc and I am trying to decide whether its worth cutting it down to a 20" for a lighter close work bush rifle or leaving it be......just curious really
. I like lighter rifles - this is replacing a Remington Model Seven in .260.
