Two strong sides?  cross draw?

What works for you?

I like 2 strong side. I had trouble with the cross draw- not doing enough of a turn when reholstering. I started to shoot double duelist which led to Gunfighter!

I've used two strong sides, a right side and a cross draw and even a shoulder holster.

I prefer the cross draw set up.If you practice it the crossdraw dance becomes automatic and I just plain like grabbing the gun with the shooting hand and not doing a gun transition from the off-side holster.

I'm a cross drawer, too (tht is not cross dresser--we had that discuss on the club forums!)  My left shoulder is beginning to whisper,"Rotator cluff urgery, rotator cluff surgery."  Had the right one done about 15 years ago so know what the pain means.

Figure anything I can do to lessen the strain on the left is a good idea.  X-draw does this for me.

Right-hand strong side and a cross-draw.....want to hear something ridiculous?  I've tried to use a strong side on both the right and left AND I can't get the hang of it!!!

I have become so comfortable with the cross-draw that anything else feels awkward!  Guess that an old dog can't learn new tricks.....!
