Huntsman and Sidekick
« on: August 22, 2004, 04:19:23 PM »
For the purposes of this forum, is the Huntsman and Sidekick the same?
I just bought a Sidekick today, never had a Huntsman.  Just wanted to know if the comments on the Huntsman apply to the Sidekick.
Thanks, Mike.

the huntsman  and sidekick have same barrels but the lug under the barrel is different so you cannot put a shotgun or rifle barrel on  the sidekick it is soly a frontstuffer  also no paperwork . the huntsman with a 50 cal. barrel is considered a firearm.  the act ion is different between the twothat is the differance :D

the barrel is longer on the side kick and also has magnum capabilities which means you can shoot up to 150 grains of powder in it safety. The huntsman is not magnum capability.  The sidekick is not able to have any other barrels fitted to it. It is strictly a muzzleloader.

Here's a Lil' Good readin' straight from the H&R site on both the Huntsman and the Sidekick... The Side kick comes in both 24" & 26" barrels, SS or blued...
