Colt 22
« on: February 10, 2004, 04:18:10 PM »
I picked up a like new Colt 22, 4 1/2" ventrib barrel today, I'm not sure of how many Colt made but they were only made for about four years (94-98-9?).  It has a polymer grip and SS receiver and barrel, to be honest I can't remember seeing too many around these parts, I really like the looks and feel, can't wait to shoot her.

i have owned a colt .22 for a few years now and can assure you they are good pistols. they are built on the high standard duramatic design as are the new berretta neo. mine has to have the slide retracted & locked and then release the slide after inserting the magazine . they aren't fancy and there is little you can do to modify or customize it in any way, but they are tough and not that hard to break down for cleaning.
