Anyone shoot a CVA Magbolt 50 caliber.I bought one last fall and it is a real pain.Nothing works the groups are terrible.

Yep! I have one and it works for hunting, but I sure wouldn't use it at a target shoot.  It looks great and feels great but it does have some production problems in my mind.

To help mine I bedded the action and floated the barrel.  With the single screw to hold it all in it doesn't take long to work in some wobble in the action.  The biggest problem, to me, is the stock - it is really to pliable.  The forend can be moved rather easily, just the pressure of resting the gun on a branch pushes the stock against the barrel - hence floating the barrel and it has to be a deeper float than you would normally use.

I have mine so I can get groups of shots into a 3-4" area @ a 100 and it will consistently stay in there -50 yard accuracy is really pretty good.  So I could feel comfortable hunting deer with it around here.
