41Rem. Mold 2!!!
« on: August 23, 2004, 04:25:19 PM »
I got my package from Dry Creek Bullet Works today and all I can say is WOW!! Out came the scale(after I got my breath back) and the average
of the DC 41-230-K on a small sampling was 229.4gr with the heavyest
in at 230.2 and lightest at 228.9gr a 1.3gr variation on a 230gr bullet. They
also sent me 8 L358156GC to try and the vari from low to high was .3gr
Wish I could cast that consistent. Might take a week or so to load and test
but I'll post my results here. Now the fun starts!! Thanks creeker

41 shooters can be hard to please. Most take their sixguns seriously. They know what works and what doesn't. Many are like GradyL41 in that they only shoot one centerfire handgun cartridge. Personally I feel that's not a bad way to go.

As for the bullet, the DC 41-230-K, I've had no complaints. Walt Melander, NEI Handtools founder, cut this mould for me before he went on to his reward. It's a testament to his work. Some found the ole man a grouch and hard to get along with. I didn't and sure miss him.
