all right another manitoban! have you considered using cast bullets? SIR carry's lee molds for 7mm, 308, .303/311 and 45/70. if you are in need of lead give me a call. i got more then i need. you can also use wheel weights, and i know the mine imn flin flon gives away used lead for free. another option is military surplus ammo and a bullet puller.

Thanks, Kevin, for the reply and the offer, casting bullets is on my list of things to do, but unfortunatly, it will have to wait for a few years. right now I am looking for cheap (jacketed or cast) bullets for my 357 mag rifle, and as far as I know the only 38 cal bullets that SIR has are made by hornady and Sierra, These are a bit pricey for practice.

check with www.districorp.ca they have cheap pistol ammo. is a 9MM not .357/38 ? you could find surplus 9MM and pull the bullets, depending on thier condition. you could also try bass pro shops when the open a toronto location in october

welcome fellow toban! the easiest thing is if you know someone going to cabela's, have them pick up some bullets from you. I just went last weekend. has I known, could have got you some. where abouts are you? as a side note, wholesale sports bought out farmer's supply on nairn. call directory for the number.
you wanna take my guns? go ahead, it's your arm!
