Hey all,
I wanted to pass on that there is a cap and ball-frontier cartridge pistol shoot at the Jesse James Farm in Kearney Missouri, April 17th, at 8:00 a.m. It is strictly pistol and shots are 5-15 yards, about 55 shots total if memory serves. It is usually a good time with good people.

How did the shoot go? I would have liked to show up again, but I just couldn't make it to this one. Hopefully I'll make it to the next one (whenever it may be).

The shoot was good, I stunk up the joint with a malfunctioning gun, but it was still fun. The next Shoot is June 12th

That'll learn ya for shootin them blasted smoke belching C&B pistols! :wink: I didn't realize that they shot regularly over there...just thought it was somethin' that they did at festival time.

I think they are up to about 4 a year. I know they have the one June 12th, which is the reunion. They have the one in spring and definitely one in the fall for the festival.

Wow, last time I was there it was still an attraction 'for tourists' in about 1967. I was barely old enough to hold a .22 rifle in both hands. Enjoy!
