Hunter Stock rules
« Reply #30 on: August 26, 2004, 08:28:16 AM »
Why do we still hang on to the "no wildcats", rule in hunter rifle.

We now allow: custom stocks, heavy (but tapered barrels), two stage anschutz triggers (on non-anschutz rifles). . .

I actually hunt with a hunting rifle chambered for a wildcat and I would very much like to use it for HR class. In the light of things I don't see using a 257R Imp. or any wildcat giving an unfair advantage. Up until recently wasn't 7 or 6BR or even 6.5-08 (260 rem) considered wildcat?
