Kerry's Navy record...???
« on: August 22, 2004, 09:15:20 AM »
We are hearing much about Kerry's activities during his 4 month stay in 'Nam...
I believe there was a required 4 year Navy enlistment at that time.

What did he do with the rest of the time he owed the govt.?

How did he get his commission...rich boy or earned...?

If he was in ' Nam in '69 & '70...was he long out of the military ?

What was the period of his enlistment?

Kerry wasn't an enlisted man, he was an officer.

An officer's commission is not the same as an enlistment contract, and does not have a predetermined period of service to expiration.

I haven't really studied his career but it's probable that as a Lt(jg) he was serving on a commission as a Reserve Officer and was found unsuitable for augmentation into the regular Navy as a result of his reckless behavior while in-country in Vietnam, and his protest activities after he left.

They probably did everything they could to process him out as soon as his ass was back on U.S. soil.
They may talk of a "New Order" in the  world, but what they have in mind is only a revival of the oldest and worst tyranny.   No liberty, no religion, no hope.   It is an unholy alliance of power and pelf to dominate and to enslave the human race.

FW;
I went to a google search, punched in some key words like John kerry navy enlistment or some such things.
Of the selections that showed up, I found a lot of gibberish from both political sides..
An apparently neutral site said that he  recieved his draft notice, so he asked for a year delay of entry into the Army...
When he was refused a delay, he went right over to join the Navy!

P.S...Didn't Clinton ask for and recieve a delay, before he sent the infamous letter to his draft board saying, " I loathe the military" ?

I thought Skerry was reassigned stateside after the third Purple Heart, and then claimed Conscientious Objector status when he was ready to run for election.

I don't know why a man who would claim CO status and testify in Congress to war crimes would later call himself a War Hero.

You know fellas, the part that kills me is the fact that after he got out of the service....he came back and cut down all of our soilders and the cause for Vietnam. YOU CALL THAT AMERICAN? COME ON. I know not all of us are supposed to believe in what everybody else does..but as fellow Americans we should support our troops no matter WHAT!!!

Find one Veteran that received three Purple Hearts in a four month period of which none were disabilitating?

Looks like one activity was getting extra military citations.
