INTREPIDWIZARD. That is an awesome picture. Thanks. Kinda makes the hair stand up on the back of my neck. KY State parks announced today that they will give a $10 discount per night to anybody running from the storm. Sadly, it seems like a draw instead of an attempt at real help. Indeed, you have to be sensible when living in a climate where it is not a uniform white color much of the year.
Pick a property that is high and dry and has wind protection, leave the substandard properties for the carpetbaggers, do not have a tree any closer to the house than it is high, have a generator and at least 30 gals of fuel treated with Stabil {cannot find a regtm symbol], have plenty of canned food and make sure your well pump will run on the generator you buy.
Do not pay any attention to "Local Officials" they know less than you and are not as well prepared as you to weather the storm.
Do not panic, this just makes for long lines in traffic and happy looters.
If any looters do show up, just shoot them and drag them off to the road, just make sure the bullet went all the way through or you used shot.
